Front cover test

So my plan for the cover of the book is to paint loosely onto paper and print digitally drawn lines over it
I tried it out earlier, using a photoshop brush intended to look like a real dry paintbrush. woah so meta

Pretty pleased with how its going, just needs lining up better

brush paintings in watercolour

digital textured brush lines on top

black lines printed back onto original painting scanned

This is working nicely so I'll continue with this. For the actual cover I will use thick watercolour paper and use painted splodges across the back and inside covers with a printed layer of a line drawn pattern, likely of pencils or paintbrushes.
