Renaissance tools

After much trouble finding tools used in the middle ages I finally gathered enough information to fill a page.
Mostly using reference from a man who makes replicas of medieval manuscripts using accurate materials.
It's rather fascinating
Anyway here's drawings

I used three shades of pink pencil to draw them in to save me the time of finding the right colours.
I actually like some of them in their pink state but for accuracy I changed the colours using hue/saturation levels and brushes on varied opacities
This was a good process to use because it meant the drawing got done faster but retained the hand drawn quality. It's handy how much photoshop can be used to alter a drawing, particularly this time with colour.
